The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) of the Ministry of Finance has commenced an outreach to Property Taxpayers. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the level of taxpayer relations and ensuring that as many persons as possible take advantage of the 5% rebate at the end of June.
A team of tax officers will therefore be visiting the various District Revenue Offices throughout the month of June 2012 to assist taxpayers.
Schedules have been arranged and are as follows:
ST. JOHN: Monday June 4th, 11th, and 18th, and the entire week of June 25th-29th, from 9:00 am - 12 noon.
ST. MARK: Monday June 4th, 11th, and 18th, and the entire week of June 25th-29th, from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm.
ST. PATRICK: Tuesday June 5th, 12th, 19th, and the entire week of June 25th – 29th, from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
ST. David: Wednesday 6th, 13th, 20th, and the entire week of June 25th – 29th, from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
ST. ANDREW: Friday June 8th, 15th, 22nd, and the entire week of June 25th – 29th, from 8:00am – 3:00 pm.
This special service will also be extended to residents of Carriacou and Petite Martinique during the week of Monday June 25th to Friday June 29th.
Taxpayers are encouraged to use this opportunity to raise concerns and clear any outstanding balances on their Property Taxes.
